About Us

Our Story

Reel Indian Pictures has been making award-winning films as well as running a fast paced video production business for over 20 years. We are Native-owned and operated.

We continuously work for local, grassroots organizations throughout our community to help bring awareness to the issues facing New Mexico's population. We also continue working in education, most recently teaching at filmmaking camps for Native youth at the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Over 20 Years of Experience

At Reel Indian Pictures, we offer a wide range of video production capabilities including event videography and photography, commercials, PSA's, promotional videos, fundraising videos (Kickstarter, Go Fund Me, etc.), PK, video editing, and DVD duplication. We also work on features, shorts and documentary film and carry years of knowledge and experience in film production - both in front of and behind the camera.

Talk to us today.

Your first step is to send us a message about your project. We can give you a quote and also point you in the direction of your next steps. We do book up, so contact us soon so we can start the pre-production stages and help you get on the timeline you need.

The Mayors of Shiprock

Every Monday night in the small community of Shiprock, New Mexico, a group of young Navajo leaders meet to decide how they will help their community. For more than seven years, the Northern Diné Youth Committee has worked to give youth opportunities to directly make changes within their community. But while the NDYC works to make changes, many members also consider their own futures, commitments to family and the world outside of the Shiprock.
